OT Rules

When are the rules going to change where both teams have the chance to score a TD in OT?
AS it stands right now, the first team to get possession and score a TD wins the game.

Probably soon after the NFL changes it's rule. Unless I am missing something, MFN OT is exactly like NFL, it's even only 10 minutes now instead of 15.

This is from the NFL's searchable rulebook. Since MFN is following NFL rules, I am not sure what Gustoon is complaining about.

ARTICLE 3. EXTRA PERIOD

Following an intermission of no more than three minutes after the end of the regular game, the extra period shall commence.

Both teams must have the opportunity to possess the ball once during the extra period, unless the team that receives the opening kickoff scores a touchdown on its initial possession, in which case it is the winner, or if the team kicking off to start the overtime period scores a safety on the receiving team’s initial possession, in which case the team that kicked off is the winner. If a touchdown is scored, the game is over, and the Try is not attempted.

Lol complaining? No.

I was under the impression that NFL rules were that both teams had the right of possession even if the first team scores a TD with their possession, if that's not the case, I'm not sure what made me think that...hmm.

Some fans were crying after the AFC Championship game when the Chiefs didn't get the ball after New England got a TD in OT but they were out cried by Saints fans.

It's first team gets possession and can end the game with a touchdown or submit a defensive score which nets the same result. Anything else and the second team has a shot at a rebuttal.
