Either to try to prevent poaching and/or to shuffle them around, like turn your LB coach into a d-line coach.

edit: so... just noticed I can do it in one of my leagues, but not in the other. The league I can is mid season. The league I can't is in pre-season season. Why not when you're looking to hire coaches anyway?
