Going into a new league type and a new version of game engine Owner/GM Pernbronze identified versatility as his primary concern. This led to him falling back on an old philosophy of when in doubt there's a TE for that. Pernbronze also heavily favored lbs with DB skills. Early in the draft he passed up potential all pro's in favor of sure thing pro bowlers. Later in the draft his tune changed shifting to high vol hoping to bolster top level talent at the expense of depth. Training Camp will determine how this draft is viewed as a team but it was carefully crafted to ensure it has the talent to be at the least a difficult win regardless of a good/bad camp.
Following training camp Minnesota ended up with too much talent at a few positions including 4 solid growing young QBs. Minnesota unexpectedly leaves the preseason even better than when they went in. Boasting depth, youth and booming talent and strutting out of preseason 4-0 Pernbronze couldn't be more confident in the carefully crafted team.
Minnesota won it's wild card game showing it is a contender, but it's a long road to the championship and Pernbronze is going to take it one day at a time after an unexpectedly disappointing regular season.
Fireworks are being reported in Minnesota after the owner reportedly struck a player while the team watched the Championship from home. Pernbronze made it quite clear a Championship is the only goal and anything less is a disappointment.
After finishing up the 2020 offseason. Minnisota is feeling good about their team, they feel not only are their starters are championship quality but that their backups could make the playoffs even without the starters. They are tight to the cap especially next offseason but are unworried as there is already a replacement ready for the only player likely to leave within three seasons.
Minnesota has assembled one of the most fearsome rosters not only in the league but mfn. We'll see just how much a roster means in a roster only league.
