He rejected an offer from Chicago to go to the 49ers. Bruce Ivery retired at the end of last season after 9 years in San Francisco (3 as defense coordinated and 5 as head coach).

QB Fred Katz resigned for another year! There were many rumours if he will end his career or even sign with another franchise for the late years of his career. But Katz and the franchise announced today that he wants to start another Super Bowl run with the 49ers. Katz won the Super Bowl with the 49ers in 2030 and lost in his second Super Bowl match recently.
