When I joined the league years ago, Grandpa was my mentor and yes he helped me in so many ways understand MFN and how it can work. I guarantee that his advice helped me win several league trophies. He even started the Elite League where we all need to follow a set amount of play diversity rules to try and counter some of the flaws in the MFN code thus trying to create a more realistic feel to this simulation. Well, stupid me, I ate it all up and went all in. Here is the kicker tho, time and time again when it comes to important games and playoffs, I mean even Grandpa tuns fake as **** and does not follow his own damned rules. So I just wanted to say that I am tired of being duped into these, so called league rules, only to get burned time and time again in the playoffs and the Superbowl. Even Grandpa doesn't follow his own damned created rules when it comes to the playoffs so don't listen to a word he says. Don't fall for play diversity rules leagues.........cause Grandpa and his lackeys will just flip it on you in the playoffs.

Sorry that happened to you, but you are not the first person to voice this complaint. There are some leagues with no rules and while my USFL is currently full, you're more than welcome to join the XFL. If you do, there will be several others that can share some stories about ole gramps.

My 2 cents:

I give a **** sh.. on winning a league right now. If I join a league with certain rules I will follow them until the end of the season, no change in possible play offs only to win.
Even in no rules leagues I play very conventional and experiment with certain things otherwise this game will be boring and stupid to follow the main stream.
I still hope that JDB manages to fix the game play to make the (artificial) league rules obsolete and give every GM the opportunity to find the best game plan depending on his HC and Roster with a great variety of different playable games including Long Passes.

Phaldun, I appreciate your effort with our league and I'm also disappointed about some people who want to win under all cicumstances and therefore sh...... on all the rules given or even promoted by themselves.

Keep on going, I'll support every effort to make this game playable for every one.
