REDNU STEPS ASIDE AS ARROWHEADS' GM
Citing his inability to bring a consistent winner to Kansas City, General Manager RedNU announced that he would be stepping down from his position with the Arrowheads after five seasons. The announcement came less than an hour after KC put the final touch on an 8-8 season that saw it lose the divisional tiebreaker to rival Oakland.
The Arrowheads made it as far as the Conference Finals under Red, but a horrific back-slide from 12-5 to 4-12 last year was followed by a season that fell well short of community expectations after an undefeated preseason performance stoked the passions of the fanbase.
Red departs with a 34-46 career record at the helm of the Arrowheads. The team announced the search for a successor would begin "immediately."
